Two Cape Girardeau residents have been selected for the Leadership Missouri program.
Donna Burk, director of external affairs for Southwestern Bell, and Kathy Swan, president of Johnson Communications Service, will attend the leadership classes sponsored by the Missouri Chamber of Commerce.
Leadership Missouri is designed to help business, government and civic leaders understand operations of Missouri business and government and goals of state elected and appointed officials. Gov. Mel Carnahan is honorary chairman of the program.
Sessions are held each month from April through October. Each meeting is conducted in a different city.
