Mary Anne Farmer, president of Magna-Tel Inc. in Cape Girardeau, has been elected vice chair of Financial Services on the Board of Directors for Promotional Products Association International (PPAI)
Magna-Tel Inc. is a corporation specializing in promotional products.
Farmer, who has been involved in the promotional products industry for 15 years, is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and has earned promotional products industry's highest official professional certification Master Advertising Specialist (MAS).
She is in her second year of a four-year PPAI board term. Her duties as vice chair of Financial Services include serving on the executive, budget and finance, and the compensation and budgeting committees. She will work closely as a consultant and adviser to the board's chairman.
She is also an active member of the PPAI speakers bureau, a member of MAS/CAS Alumni Association Promotional Products Networkers Association. Farmer is past president of the Cape Girardeau County Rotary Club and the Cape Area Personnel Association.
The PPAI, founded in 1904, is a trade association representation the $13.2 billion promotional products industry.
