Schrieber, one of only three statewide recipients of the News Media Award, was nominated by Three Rivers Community College because of his years of support of the college.
The awards is one of the most prestigious awards presented by the MCCA.As publisher of the Daily American Republic, Schrieber has supported TRCC in a variety of ways, publishing public interest stories regarding the college and its students as well as information promoting programs -- college scholarship recipients and special events at the college.
