Darrell Aufdenberg, of Jackson, has been named vice president of agricultural and commercial lending at Capaha Bank of Cape Girardeau.
John Abercrombie, president of Capaha Bank, announced the appointment recently.
Aufdenberg has been in banking for the past three years and has an extensive background in agriculture. He is past president of the Jackson Chamber of Commerce, serves on the Jackson JIDC Board and Semo Cattleman's Board.
Aufdenberg also co-chaired the fund raising for the new University Extension Center building, and is chairman for the SEMO Select Heifer Sale. He is also active with the SEMO District Fair.
Aufdenberg is working in Capaha Bank's Cape Girardeau Operations Center office at 1 S. Main, Suite A. Capaha Bank is at 3168 William St.
