McClanahan has been stockholder of the PCA since 1969 and has served as a board member since 1994. McClanahan and his wife operate a farm southeast of Charleston, producing corn, soybeans and wheat.

Randy Hulshof of Portageville, a PCA board member since 1992, was named vice chairman of the board.

Other board members are Larry McCallister of Broseley, Larry Mayberry of Essex, Darrell Nichols of Vanduser, Greg Gibson of Senath and Dr. William Meyer of Cape Girardeau.

The PCA serves 1,200 farmers in nine Southeast Missouri counties.
