David Gohn, chairman, president and chief executive officer of the West Plains Bank & Trust Co., has been elected chairman of the Missouri Bankers Association (MBA). Other officers elected during the association's annual convention held at Branson recently, were R. Crosby Kemper, president of UMB Bank of St. Louis, chairman-elect; and Duane S. Michie, president of First State Bank & Trust Company Inc. of Caruthersville, treasurer.
Michie is also chairman of the board at the Bank of Hayti and Farmers Bank of Portageville and is president and chairman of the board for First State Bancorp Inc. He is chairman of the board for the Pemiscot County Port Authority and vice chairman of Pemiscot County Industrial Development group.
