BUSINESS PERSONNEL: JOINS CHAMBER

Michael Wells has joined the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce as communications director.

Wells, a graduate of Murray State University with a Bachelors degree in radio-television and organization communication and Master's degree in journalism, will start at the chamber in mid-July.

Wells has been serving as sports editor and associated news editor for the Ste. Genevieve Herald newspaper.

Wells replaces Tonya Wells, who has taken a public affairs position with the Missouri Department of Transportation. She has served as chamber communications director four years.
