Lonnie G. Hasty, vice president and comptroller of Health Facilities Management Corp. of Cape Girardeau, has been named vice president of the Missouri Family Trust, a statewide, non-profit trust that allows families of people with disabilities to set aside funds to supplement government assistance.
Laura T. Roy of St. Charles, staff counsel for the Missouri Court of Appeals-Eastern District, was elected president of the nine-member board of trustees. Members of the board are appointed by the governor with advice and consent of the Senate.
Assets of the trust have passed $7 million since its formation in 1989. The trust has distributed $2 million.
