Emma Nichols, Cletus Garrett and Helen Farrar were recently honored for 30 years of service at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Nichols, neurology lab; Garrett, environmental services; and Farrar, food and nutrition services, were among 171 employees, totaling more than 1,825 years, honored during the hospital's 29th Employee Awards Banquet last month.

Commemorative pins in recognition of five, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years of services were presented by hospital administrator James W. Wente and director of human resources Charles "Chuck" Keppler.

Recognized for 25 years service were Mary Susann Amos, clinical laboratory; Juanita Johnson, chemotherapy; Barbara Rauh-Powell, administrator of Southeast Home Health Service Services; Michael Myer, plant operations; Vanessa Tuttle, food and nutrition services; Laura Hurst, medical records; Verna Eaker, patient registration; Betty Shoaf, accounting; and Charles Keppler.

20-year employees:

Barb McKeon, employee counselor; Sharon Stinson, nursing director at the hospital; Gayle Unverferth, nursery; Theresa Hall, psychiatric unit nurse manager; Connie Lape, case management; Anita Yarbro, pathology laboratory; Nancy Mattingly, cancer program coordinator; Roberta Kaufman, environmental services; Darlene Dow, food and nutrition; Kay Litwicki, food and nutrition clinical dietitian; Sherry Welker, food and nutrition; Sally Thurlkill, tumor registry; Devin Sutton, quality management, Jeanne Kelpe, credit and collections; and Mary Moore, materials management.
