Cynthia New and Christine Szpak have joined Southwestern Bell Wireless.
New will be account executive in charge of sales in the Poplar Bluff, Charleston and the Bootheel area. She is a graduate of Sikeston High School and had attended Southeast Missouri State University. She previously served as Southeast Missouri regional director for the American Heart Association and as regional sales director and research and development director of Craftmaster's KidSmart in Sikeston. She has also worked at the Sikeston Standard Democrat newspaper as reporter, photographer and lifestyle editor.
Szpak has been named retail sales representative. She is a graduate of Kirkwood High School and St. Louis University with a bachelor's degree in social services. She worked for Southwestern Bell Wireless in St. Louis, before relocating to Cape Girardeau two years ago.
