Kevin Essner has received a promotion at Capaha Bank.
John R. Abercrombie, president of the bank, announced Essner's promotion to senior vice president of Capaha Bank.
Essner, a Kelso native, joined Capaha Bank in March 1992 as vice president and commercial agricultural loan officer. He is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and is a member of both the Cape Girardeau and Jackson chambers of commerce.
Essner has attended the Illinois Bankers Association commercial lending school and the American Bankers Association agricultural credit conference as well as numerous seminars and workshops. He has also served on a number of state banking committees, including the IBA Ag Credit Conference Committee and the IBA Lending School board of trustees.
Essner will mange agricultural lending services in both Missouri and Illinois.
