BUSINESS PERSONNEL: APPOINTED AGENT

Brian Shelton, formerly of Cape Girardeau, has been appointed a State Farm Insurance agent in the St. Robert/Waynesville/Fort Leonard Wood area in Missouri.

Shelton, who has completed the State Farm agency training program and has met all the state licensing requirement, has been employed at State Farm six years.

He worked in the Missouri regional office where he served as legislative liaison for the Missouri region, and before that was a claim specialist in Cape Girardeau.

He is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University in 1992, with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He also attended Cape Central High School.
