Vickie Rinehart of Jackson has joined the Cape Girardeau County Farm Bureau Insurance office as an agent.
Rinehart has more than six years sales experience. Prior to joining the Farm Bureau, she worked six years as an account executive with Zimmer Broadcasting.
Charles "Bud" Leming received the "Realtor of the Year" award presented by the Cape Girardeau Board of Realtors, during the group's annual Christmas and Installation Banquet held in December at the Cape Girardeau Country Club.
David Dormeyer of Prudential Bridgeport Realtors and Linda Pruitt, secretary of the Cape County Board, were crowned "King and Queen" of the banquet.
Fred Neal, president-elect of the Missouri Association of Realtors (MAR), installed new officers for the local board. They include: Schirley Huey, president; David Donley, president-elect; Linda Pruitt, executive secretary; Tim Singleton, Multi-List Service president and board treasurer, Cheryl Huffman, secretary; Marta Green, Jane Clark and Sue Bellis, directors.
Kevin Dillon of McClure, Ill., and general manager at the West Park 4 Cine at West Park Mall in Cape Girardeau, has been named as "General Manager of the Year" by Wehrenberg Theatres.
Wehrenberg Theatres has 30 theaters in Missouri, Illinois and Arizona.
Dillon, a graduate of Shawnee High School at Wolf Lake, Ill,; and Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in business administration, has been with the theater chain 10 years.
Bill Beydler of Cape Girardeau, a territory manager for the National Federation of Independent Business, recently attended a conference of more than 600 small business owners in Washington.
The conference was designed to develop grass-roots organizing skills to help small business owners push for pro-business legislation. "The budget battle has Washington tied up in knots," said Beydler. "But the conference focused on issues to be taken up after the budget impasse is resolved."
As territory manager, Beydler speaks with small business owners throughout 18 counties in Southeast Missouri. Nationwide, the federation represents more than 600,000 entrepreneurs, making it the nation's largest small-business advocacy group.
Lyle Hutteger has been named the 1995 "Salesman of the Year" for Wieser Honda-Mazda.
Hutteger of Cape Girardeau has been with Wieser Honda-Mazda two years.
Dr. T.J. Glenn, a psychiatrist from Cape Girardeau, attended the 89th Scientific Assembly of the Southern Medical Association held recently at Kansas City.
The association, headquartered at Birmingham, Ala., provides continuing medical education programs for physicians.
