Marchbanks is experienced in the area of retirement investment products, which include 401k's, tax deferred annuities and IRA's. He previously worked in the St. Louis area as a broker for Aetna Investments Services for nine years.

Lusk, a CPA, is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, with a bachelor's degree in business administration with majors in management. Lusk has been associated with the accounting service industry since 1991. He was previously a vice president for commercial loans with Mercantile Bank.

Ken Brink is new manager of the Cape Girardeau Orscheln Farm and Home L.L.C. store.
Brink, who has been with Orscheln a year, has more than 20 years of agricultural experience. He previously served as general manager of Ag Co-ops in West and Central Missouri.
Brink and his wife, Gail, recently relocated to the Cape Girardeau area.
Orscheln Farm & Home, which operates 81 stores in six states, offers a number of products, including lawn and garden, hardware, electrical, plumbing and farm supplies.
Pat Ferrell of Jackson has joined Capaha Bank, 3168 William in Cape Girardeau, as senior vice president. She will oversee operations and act as the chief financial officer.
Ferrell has more than 21 years of banking experience. She previously worked at NationsBank/Boatmen's Bank of Cape Girardeau, where she was senior vice president of accounting and operations.
She is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
Karen M. Rigdon has joined NationsBanc Mortgage Corp. as an account executive in the company's retail mortgage office in Cape Girardeau.
Prior to joining NationsBanc Mortgage, Rigdon had served as a branch manager at Farm and Home Savings Association, and as vice president at First National Bank of the Mid-South in Cape Girardeau.

Dr. Jim Dufek and Cindy App of the Mass Communication Department at Southeast Missouri State University, and three students _ Shonna Tropf, Niki Hennrich and Megan Matheny _ from the University Chapter of International Television Association (ITVA) recently attended the International Television Association's annual meeting in Cincinnati.
The members from the Southeast Chapter were selected as on-site coordinators to help facilitate seminars and meetings at the conference. Dufek presented a program at the seminar, entitled "Justifying New Technology."
The local chapter of ITVA produces "Chamber Matters," for the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce, and has produced several programs for the League of Women Voters, Cape County Bar Association, and other social and civic groups.
Dufek is an associate professor of video operations, and App is an assistant professor at the university. Tropf, Hennrich and Matheny are video production majors and are employed at KFVS-TV.
Marcia Ridenour has been promoted to manager at BART Transportation Inc.
The announcement was made recently by Ray Duffey, president of BART.
Ridenour has been with the company eight years and most recently, served as assistant manager. In her new position, she will be responsible for day-do-day activities of BART, including the Cape Girardeau, Carbondale, Ill., and Springfield, Ill., operations.
BART Transportation, which recently observed its 10th year of service, is a van service providing transportation to the St. Louis Airport from Southeast Missouri, Southern and Central Illinois. The company operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Jana Jateff was recently honored for sales performances by Mary Kay Cosmetics, during a seminar in Dallas.
Jateff received a one-carat diamond ring for her achievement.
Jateff, a senior sales director with Mary Kay Cosmetics, has worked with the company 14 years. She has received annual sales honors three times.
Tracey Brown of Dongola, Ill., has been named news editor at the Cairo (Ill.) Citizen newspaper.
Brown, a graduate of Bethel College in McKenzie, Tenn., was editor of the college newspaper and previously was yearbook editor in high school.
