Withers Broadcasting has announced a format change for KAPE 1550 AM from a hot talk radio station to adult standards music during the day and talk radio in the evenings.
It has been three years since there has been an adult standards station in the Cape Girardeau area, and research has shown that there is a great demand for this type of music.
KAPE will play original hits from the 40s, 50s and 60s. During the day you will be able to enjoy artists such as Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis, Bing Crosby, Tony Bennett and Perry Como.
Then, you can spend your evening listening to Bruce Williams at 6 and Jim Bohannon at 9.
KAPE will air live broadcasts of the Scott City Rams football and every game of the Missouri Tigers and Kansas City Chiefs football season.
