Trinity Lutheran Day Care Center of Cape Girardeau has received a $500 grant from Aid Associations for Lutherans (AAL).
The grant was provided through the AAL Lutheran Early Childhood Education Grant Program, which was offered to more than 4,000 Lutheran early childhood centers throughout the country.
The grant is designed to help the staffs of local early childhood centers pursue professional teacher development opportunities and to strengthen administrative aspects of the program.
AAL, based in Appleton, Wis., is a fraternal benefit society. It provides 1.7 million members with volunteer opportunities and insurance products.
