BUSINESS MEMO: TELECONFERENCE SET

Edward D. Jones investment representative Timothy Gutwein will be host to a live satellite teleconference on community development issues facing business and property owners this week.

The teleconference will be held at noon Wednesday at the Edward Jones office at 502 W. Main, Suite B in Jackson.

The one-hour program will feature Kennedy Smith, director of the National Trust for Historic Preservation's National Main Street Center.

The National Main Street Center has assisted more than 1,200 downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts since 1980, helping them restore and use their historic resources as part of an overall strategy to restructure and reinvigorate downtown economies.
