The Cape Girardeau Area Industrial Recruitment Association has received the third check of a Wal-Mart commitment to the association, in the amount of $2,500.
The latest pledge completed the Wal-Mart pledge of $7,500 to the industrial recruitment association. Wes Gillespie manager of the Cape Girardeau Wal-Mart Supercenter and Rich Boyd, Jackson Wal-Mart Supercenter manager, presented the final check to Mitch Robinson, executive director of the association, recently.
"This represents our commitment to stimulate community growth and development in the Cape Girardeau area," said Gillespie. "Wal-Mart is proud to make this contribution as a commitment to helping improve the economy in the area."
