Cammie Seabaugh is the new owner of Special Effects Beauty Salon, 2532 William in Cape Girardeau.
Seabaugh, a stylist with Special Effects for more than 12 years, has received numerous honors from the salon, including "Stylist of the Year" and "Retailer of the Year."
"I was at the shop when it opened 12 years ago," said Seabaugh.

The shop, which has eight operators and a nail technician, has been at its current location since 1994.
The salon opened in November 1989 at 121 Broadview Plaza Center with four stations and four operators.
Kim Talley, the previous owner, remains with the salon.
