BUSINESS MEMO: K's REMODELING IOWA STORE

K's Merchandise, headquartered in Decatur, Ill., will more than double its sales space at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, this fall.

K's Merchandise, a family-owned business with 15 stores throughout the Midwest, including an 85,000-square-foot facility at 371 Broadview in Cape Girardeau, offers a variety of products, including sporting goods, electronics, jewelry, housewares, furniture, small appliances, toys, baby goods and giftware.

Don Ouellette, vice president of merchandising, said the remodeling project at Cedar Rapids is scheduled for completion in mid-November.
