Girardeau Stevedors moved the old units, via the Southeast Missouri Port Railroad, from Havco to the port and secured the units for rail movement.

The port railroad delivered the units on a flat car to the Burlington Northern Railroad for movement to Mexico.

The port railroad has handled cars previously in connection with the Burlington Northern, Southern Pacific and Union Pacific, but this was the first carload that originated at the port for Burlington Northern, said Port Director Dan Overby.
