The Spicer Light Vehicle Axle Division of Dana Corp. at Cape Girardeau has received the "Facet of Excellence Award," presented to Missouri Quality Award applicants, for its unique work system.Dana has created a four-shift, seven-day operation with broad job descriptions that give employees multiple responsibilities. This enables the company to ensure that all work/tasks are covered at all times, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Dana, a manufacturing facility located at 2075 Corporate Circle, off Southern Expressway, employs 380 people.
