"Enhancing Southern Illinois for 21st Century" is the topic for a regional, two-day, economic conference, to be held at Mt. Vernon, Ill. Holiday Inn Nov. 17-18.
The event is co-hosted by the Southern Illinois University-Carbondale Office of Economic and Regional Development and the Extension Service.
The goal of the conference is to bring Southern Illinois leaders together for networking, said John Quinn, Economic Development Extension educator.
