Dana was selected after a review process that included an analysis of its financial performance and research into its practices in areas such as decision-making, educaiton, safety and continuous improvement.

Founded in 1904, Dana operates more than 330 facilities in 32 countries and employs more than 86,000 people.
Dana recorded its 70th straight year of record sales -- $12.5 billion -- and a fifth straight year of record operating profits in 1998.
The local Dana facility is the Spicer Light Vehicle Axle Division at 2075 Corporate Circle.
