Two seriously injured in accident on I-55
A Perryville, Mo., man and an Alexandria, Va., woman both received serious injuries in a two-car accident Sunday in Cape Girardeau County. Claudia Bringle, 66, of Alexandria, was southbound in a 2001 Ford on Interstate 55, three miles north of Cape Girardeau, when she crossed the median and struck a 2000 Mazda driven by Robert Brockland, 55, of Perryville.
Both Bringle and Brockland were transported to St. Francis Medical Center.
