According to a release from Capt. Scott Eakers, five bullet holes were found in the front side of the residence, and though the resident was home at the time of the incident, no injuries were reported.
Eakers' statement said witnesses reported a dark gray SUV sped away from the scene, surveillance camera footage from a local business verified the description of the vehicle, which witnesses said was occupied by two males.
The statement said authorities believe this to be an isolated incident, with no ongoing threat to the community.
