JACKSON, Mo. -- A Sedgewickville, Mo., woman was seriously injured early Wednesday when the vehicle she was driving overturned near Jackson.

Victoria Mayne, 50, was taken to Southeast Missouri Hospital after the 6:34 a.m. accident on Highway 72, four miles west of Jackson.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Mayne's vehicle went off the right side of the road and struck a tree before overturning.
