Cape Girardeau

The following items were released Sunday by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

* Matthew Bogel, 22, of 914 Peachtree, St. Charles, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain a single lane.

* Michael Vassel, 20, of 6848 Casselberry Court, St. Louis, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Thefts

* Gas was reported stolen at Amerimart at 865 N. Kingshighway.

* Gas was reported stolen at SEMO Gas at 40 N. Sprigg St.

* A wallet was reported stolen at 1000 Ranney Ave.

Arson

* Arson was reported at CRS Gas at 102 S. Mason St.

Miscellaneous

* A 25-year-old male was placed in protective custody.

* A wallet and its contents were reported found in East Cape Girardeau, Ill.

* A purse and its contents were reported found at 156 Vantage Drive.
