The following items were released Saturday by the Cape Girardeau Police Deparment. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWI
* An arrest was made in the 1400 block of N. Spanish Street for driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The name was withheld pending filing of formal charges.
Assaults
* An assault was reported in the 600 block of Mechaw Drive. A 10-year-old was cited into juvenile court in connection with the complaint.
* A domestic assault was reported. The suspect was arrested but the name was withheld pending the filing of formal charges.

Thefts
* A cellular telephone was reported stolen at 3039 William St.
* A string trimmer was reported stolen at 617 N. Spanish St.
* A license plate was reported stolen at 477 N. Main St.
* Famous Barr, 100 West Park Mall, reported clothing stolen. Brandon L. Janssen, 17, of Jackson was arrested in connection with the complaint.
* Foot Locker, 133 West Park Mall, reported clothing stolen. Brandon L. Janssen, 17, of Jackson was arrested in connection with the complaint.
* Bi-State Oil Co., 612 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft.
* Jasper's, 407 Morgan Oak St., reported a theft of gasoline.
* A bicycle was reported stolen at Broadway and Ellis Street.
Property Damage
* The rear window of a car was reported broken at 1135 Giboney Ave.
* A dent in a vehicle was reported at 121 S. Sprigg St.
* Property damage was reported at Benton and Good Hope streets. A suspect was in custody, but the name was withheld pending the filing of formal charges.
Miscellaneous
* A Huffy bicycle was reported found at 1805 William St.
* A Winchester shotgun was reported found at 807 William St.
* A dog bite was reported at 908 S. Benton St.
* Evidence tampering was reported at 40 S. Sprigg St. The suspect was in custody but the name was withheld pending the filing of formal charges.
* Taco Bell, 335 N. Kingshighway, reported a counterfeit bill.
* A curfew violation was reported at 1610 N. Kingshighway. A 16-year-old was cited into juvenile court in connection with the complaint.
