Arrests

<li> Joe Willie Brand, 21, 616 Boxwood Drive, was arrested for domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon.

<li> David L. Griffin, 23, of Wappapello, Mo., was arrested for domestic assault.

<li> Cynthia J. Chasteen, 45, no address given, was arrested for trespassing.

<li> James A. Davis, 47, 200 N. Elm St., Charleston, Mo., was arrested on a Festus, Mo., warrant for failing to appear for stealing and on an Alexander County warrant for failing to appear on a suspended license charge.

<li> A 25-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

<li> A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges of theft at Sears, 2101 William St.

Summonses

<li> Angela M. Knight, 25, 101 Riverside Drive, was issued a summons for having an animal at large and no city animal license.

Thefts

<li> Money was reported stolen at 415 E. Cape Rock Drive.

<li> Muffler Express, 1205 N. Kingshighway, reported a post and fence damaged and automotive services that weren't paid for.

<li> A wallet was reported stolen at 1507 Independence St.

<li> An 8-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court for stealing.

<li> Sperling's Automotive, 317 N. Broadview St., reported a stereo and speakers stolen, property damage and second-degree trespassing.

<li> Shell D-Mart, 3415 William St., reported gasoline stolen.

Burglaries

<li> A burglary was reported.

<li> A burglary and tampering were reported.

<li> A computer and MP3 player was reported stolen at 814 N. Cape Rock Drive.

Property damage

<li> A vehicle window was reported broken at 1401 N. Kingshighway.

<li> Headstones were reported damaged at Fairmont Cemetery, 835 Caruthers Ave.

<li> Fred's Discount, 121 S. Sprigg St., reported a forged check.

<li> Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported forged checks.

<li> Dollar General Store, 724 Broadway, reported forged checks.

<li> A 16-year-old girl was cited into juvenile court as a runaway.
