Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

• Jerome D. Kluesner, 20, of Chaffee, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and exhibition driving.

Arrests

• David K. Huckstep of McClure, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.
• Jeremy A. Taylor, 33, 2842 Whitener St., Apt. B1, was arrested on a Union County, Ill., warrant for failure to appear for aggravated assault.

Summonses

• Joel K. Lay, 24, of Miami received a summons for resisting arrest and protective custody.
• Trafton C. Clark of Scott City received a summons for prohibited acts.

Assaults

• An assault was reported at 451 N. Frederick St.
• A domestic assault was reported.
• An assault on a law enforcement officer was reported at 1701 Lacey St. A subject was in custody pending formal charges in connection with the complaint.

Burglaries

• A burglary was reported at 432 E. Cape Rock Drive. Prescription medication was reported stolen.
• A burglary was reported at 418 Themis St., Apt. 1. A wallet was reported stolen.
• A burglary was reported at 2405 Glenview Drive.

Thefts

• J.C. Penney, 200 West Park Mall, reported a theft of clothing.
• Designated Driver reported a theft at 1111 N. Spanish St.

Property damage

• A vehicle was reported damaged at 294 Christine St.
• Property damage was reported at Jefferson Avenue and Benton Street.

Miscellaneous

• A violation of an ex parte order of protection was reported.
• Forgery was reported at 2439 William St.
• Schnucks, 19 S. Kingshighway, reported a fraudulent attempt to obtain a controlled substance.
• The placement of a person into protective custody was reported.
• Ragsdales, 132 N. Main St., reported unlawful use of a license.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department.

Thefts

• A theft was reported in the 100 block of Clark Street.
• A theft was reported in the 500 block of Diana Drive.
• A theft was reported in the 3100 block of Breckenridge Drive.
• A theft was reported in the 400 block of Green Meadows Drive.

Miscellaneous

• A nuisance was reported in the 800 block of Clark Street.
