The following items were released Thursday by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Jamall T. Southall, 23, 727 Clark St., Apt. B., was arrested for fleeing unlawful detention.

* John P. Waller, 32, 337 N. Park St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.

* Daniel E. Wren, 30, 318 N. Sprigg St., Apt. 100, was arrested on a St. Louis County Police Department warrant for failing to register a motor vehicle and on a Kirkwood Police Department warrant for driving while suspended.

* David D. Wyatt, 37, of Metropolis, Ill., was arrested on a municipal warrant for contempt of court for failing to pay a fine for speeding.

* Matthew T. Butler, 21, 912 Elm St., was arrested on a municipal warrant for contempt of court for failing to pay fines for speeding, no seat belt and no proof of insurance.

* Tammy R. Umfleet, 45, 1112 Perry Avenue, was arrested on a municipal warrant for failing to appear for stealing.

Assault

* Unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action was reported.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported at 430 Sheridan Apt. H.

Theft

* A check was reported stolen at 153 West Park Mall.

* Identity theft was reported at 1541 Wildhorse Trail.

* A wishing well planter was reported stolen at 325 Edgewood.

Property damage

* A vehicle window was broken at 221 N. Ellis.

Miscellaneous

* Enterprise Rent A Car reported two magentic license plates lost.

* An attempted suicide was reported.

* A false report was reported.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items on Friday. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Timothy R. Harris, 45, 135 W. Vale, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and failure to register a motor vehicle.

Arrests

* Bobby G. Turner, 34, 153 N. West Lane, was arrested for failing to stop at a stop sign.

* Douglas R. Wallace, 29, 135 Pin Oak Lot 178, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended and failure to use a turn signal.

Summonses

* Misty Edmonds, 27, 1132 N. Middle in Cape Girardeau, was issued a summons for driving while revoked.

Assault

* An assault was reported in the 900 block of West Adams Street.

Property damage

* A report of property damage was made in the 900 block of Kimbel Woods Dr.

Burglary

* A report of a burglary was made in the 200 block of West Main Street.

Miscellaneous

* A missing person was reported in the 2200 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* A report of harassment was made in the 2200 block of Walton Drive.

* An exparte violation was reported in the 200 block of South Union.

* A request was made to check the well being in the 4000 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

* A domestic dispute was reported on Shawnee Avenue.
