Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

* Joshua Fonseca, 23, of 619 Sycamore Circle, No. 4, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, obstructing traffic and going the wrong way on a one-way street.

* Corey M. Riney, 24, of 1510 N. Clark Ave., received a summons for speeding and driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* Rozell Edwards Jr., 44, of Tamms, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of drug violations and unlawful use of a weapon.

* Jacqualine Klump, 34, of Ullin, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Jan Smith, 40, of Ullin, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Summonses

* Christopher Griep, 22, of Herculaneum, Mo., received a summons for indecent exposure.

* Mathew Wedemeir, 21, of 607 North St., received a summons for disorderly conduct.

Assault

* A domestic assault was reported at 2830 Independence St., No. 10.

* An assault, child endangerment and trespassing were reported at 211 Mason St.

Burglaries

* A burglrary was reported at 614 Boxwood Drive. A Compaq laptop computer, an Xbox game system and a Motorola cellular telephone were reported stolen.

* A burglary was reported at 337 N. Ellis St.

Thefts

* A bicycle was reported stolen at 513 William St. It was later found damaged.

* Cash was reported stolen from a vehicle.

* Cash was reported stolen at 2839 Whitener St.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported at 247 Siemers Drive.

* A car window was reported broken at 103 Clark Ave.

Miscellaneous

* A 37-year-old man was placed in protective custody at South Kingshighway and William Street.

* A 20-year-old man was placed in protective custody in the 1500 block of Price Drive.

* A 13-year-old boy was reported as a runaway.

* A 15-year-old boy was reported as a runaway.

* A violation of a custody order was reported at 40 S. Sprigg St.

* Failure to return rental property was reported at 610 S. Kingshighway.

* A 55-year-old man was placed in protective custody at Broadway and Park Avenue.
