The following items were released Tuesday by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Brandon Lamont King, 18, 838 S. Ellis St., was arrested on a city warrant for failure to return to confinement.

* David Wayne McCracken, 18, Box 572, Marble Hill, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of several traffic offenses.

* Melinda Eve Higgins, 34, 1714 Oak Hills, was arrested on a city warrant for failure to appear in court for maintenance of a nuisance.

Theft

* Gasoline was reported stolen from Shell D-Mart, 3415 William St.

Property Damage

* Ralph's Furniture, 1739 N. Kingshighway, reported damage to landscaping following a vehicle accident where the driver left the scene.

* Major Brands Inc., 334 N. Broadview, reported burglary, stealing and property damage.

* Auto Stop Inc., 2550 Independence St., reported damage to a convertible top and rear glass.

Miscellaneous

* Pizza Hut, 215 S. Kingshighway, reported receiving a forged check.

* Finish Line, 225 West Park Mall, reported receiving a forged check.

* A 2003 red Kawasaki was reported towed from 19 S. Spanish St.
