Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* David Evans, 43, of Perks, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.

* Travis L. Curry, 24, 304 S. Benton St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

* A subject was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

Thefts

* Golf clubs and accessories were reported stolen at 53 Doctors' Park.

* A cell phone, MP3 player and wallet were reported stolen at 835 S. Kingshighway.

* Theft by deceit was reported at 216 N. Missouri Ave.

Miscellaneous

* A 52-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Theft

* A theft was reported in the 500 block of West Main Street.

* Identity theft was reported in the 1000 block of Trail Ridge Drive.

Miscellaneous

* Harassment was reported in the 600 block of East Adams Street.
