Arrests; Assaults; Burglaries; Thefts

Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Willie L. Brown IV, 822 S. Sprigg St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation.
  • Dane J. Balsmann, 170 W. Spring Valley Lane, Jackson, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant of commitment.
  • Justin D. Moore, 1830 Stoddard, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant of commitment.
  • Ivy Lee, 23, of 1035 Village Lane was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
  • Cecil Hardin, 50, of 315 S. Lorimier St. was arrested on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear in court for driving while revoked.
  • Conkeesta Johnson, 23, of 411 S. Frederick St. was arrested on a New Madrid County warrant for parole violation and a Scott County warrant for failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Robert White, 54, of 522 S. Ellis St. was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear in court for stealing.

Assaults

  • A second-degree assault was reported.
  • An assault was reported at Central Junior High School, 205 Caruthers Ave. A juvenile was cited into juvenile court pending filing of formal charges.
  • An assault was reported at Broadway and Sprigg Street.

Burglaries

  • A burglary was reported at 457 Mason St.
  • A burglary was reported at 1136 N. Middle St.
  • A burglary was reported at 221 S. Sprigg St.

Thefts

  • Fuel was reported stolen at Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St.
  • Fuel was reported stolen at Bi-State Southern, 290 N. Kings­highway.
  • A Nokia cell phone was reported stolen at 1215 Broadway.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported at Pacific and Themis streets.
