  • Two subjects were placed in custody pending charges of receiving stolen property.
  • Two boys, ages 14 and 16, were cited into juvenile court for stealing.
  • Steven R. Hanks, 27, 919 Pacific St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • Isaac S. Johnson, 23, 712 Ellis St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • Stephen B. White, 50, 45 S. West End Blvd., Unit 415, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
  • Martin R. Aide, 20, 48 S. Spring Ave., Unit F, was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • Cody L. Gustin, 18, 709 Albert St., was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
  • Martinique C. Johnson-Davis, 31, 1856 Ferndale St., was arrested on a Kansas warrant for theft.
  • Shannon L. Smith, 30, of Vicksburg, Miss., was arrested on a Butler County warrant for bad checks.
  • Alexander S. Harris, 20, 1204 Bloomfield St, was arrested on suspicion of peace disturbance.
  • A subject was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
  • A subject is in custody pending charges for stealing.

  • Second-degree assault and trespassing were reported.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported at Simply A Dollar at 213 S. Broadview St. Candy was reported taken.

Thefts

  • Identity theft was reported.
  • Cell phones were reported stolen at 1752 Themis St.
  • Fraudulent use of a credit card was reported at 307 S. Pacific St.
  • A backpack was reported stolen at 1 Capaha Park.
  • Cash and a debit card were reported stolen at 2849 Themis St.
  • Clothing was reported stolen at 902 N. West End Blvd.
  • A bicycle was reported stolen in the 700 block of Linden Street.
  • Jewelry was reported stolen at 2011 N. Kingshighway.
  • Checks were reported stolen at 2819 Whitener St.
  • Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported counterfeiting.

Property damage

  • Tires were punctured at 1234 S. Pacific St.
  • A vehicle rear window was broken and the trunk was scratched at 2747 Hopper Road.
  • Vehicle damage was reported at 718 Ranney Ave.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Sherry K. Wilt, 44, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance, possession of prescription medication without a prescription, failure to maintain a single lane and improper lane usage.

  • Heather Ann Brown, 20, 409 N. Shawnee Blvd., was issued a summons for displaying plates of another vehicle.
  • Cecil Benjamin Burrows, 50, HC62 Box 1B, Sedgewickville, Mo., was issued a summons for failure to annually register a motor vehicle and displaying the plates of another vehicle.
  • Robert Lawrence Taylor, 21, 5792 Highway 72, was issued a summons for driving with a suspended license.
  • Rayla Bishop, 34, 318 Broadridge Drive, Apt. 1, was issued a criminal summons for theft.

  • Randy A. Rodgers, 21, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

  • Rockland D. Gleason, 60, of Whitewater was arrested on suspicion of statutory sodomy.
  • Glinden C. Doyle, 50, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.
  • Donna M. Hale, 46, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
