  • Veronica L. Schearf, 25, 1400 S. West End Blvd., Apt. 30, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, no proof of insurance and failure to obey signal.

Arrests

  • Lakeisha S. Lee, 27, of Bourbonais, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for insurance card required.
  • Demetrius D. Clary, 40, 407 N. Mount Auburn Road, Apt. 1C, was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
  • Edward McCalip Jr., 2830 Whitener St., Apt. 8, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault.
  • Mark A. Messmer, 25, 2857 Themis St., Apt. B5, was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked.
  • William M. Colgate, 43, 6798 Highway 74, was arrested on warrant for probation violation.
  • Timothy I. Palmer, 21, 404 N. Louisiana Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for improper registration.
  • Brian W. Leirer, 32, 713 N. Middle St., was arrested on suspicion of failure to use turn signal, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Shain M. White, 22, 219 S. Hanover St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for revoked operator's license.
  • Bobby J. Hastings, 18, 537 N. Sprigg St., Apt. A, was arrested on suspicion of illegal possession alcohol by consumption.

Summons

  • Justin Farrow, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated.

Assaults

  • A robbery and armed criminal action were reported in the 500 block of South Benton Street.
  • An assault and armed criminal action were reported.

Burglaries

  • A burglary was reported at 230 Good Hope St. An Xbox was reported stolen in the incident.
  • A burglary was reported at 4161 Hopper Road. A Nintendo Wii, assorted games, movies, watch, CD player, keys, subwoofers, chain saw and assorted items were reported stolen in the incident.

  • Jaspers, 10 S. West End Blvd., reported a theft of ice.

  • A blue Ford Taurus was reported stolen at 442 S. Sprigg St.
  • A Missouri trailer license plate was reported stolen in the Cape Girardeau area.
  • A silver bicycle, water bottle and MP3 player were reported stolen at 3007 Hopper Road.
  • Budget Inn, 1448 N. Kings­highway, reported a theft of services and comforter.
  • Toolbags, tools and a socket set were reported stolen at 3449 Glenview Drive.
  • Rhodes 101, 449 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Jaspers, 1008 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A red gas can was reported stolen at 135 S. Ellis St.
  • Bi State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline. Michael D. Smith, 1927 N. Kingshighway, No. 22, was arrested in connection with the incident.
  • A DVD player, surround sound, earrings, cell phone and food were reported stolen at 2806 Independence St., No. 12. A glass door was reported damaged.
  • Jaspers, 407 Morgan Oak St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A 2003 yellow Suzuki motorcycle, license plate 7R927, was reported stolen at 1125 Dorothy St.

  • Daniel A. Reyes, 21, 1205 Brandom St., Apt. 6, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to display lighted lamps when required, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.

Summonses

  • Abby D. Edwards, 19, 2951 E. Main St., was issued a citation for affray.
  • Jamey S. Blankenship, 19, of 2951 Main St., was issued a citation for affray.
  • Rayla Bishop, 34, 318 Broadridge Drive, No. 1, was issued a summons for stealing.
