The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Gertrude A. Smith, no age given, 1126 N. Spanish St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear on COC failure to pay fines.

* Carrie A. Smith, no age given, 2080 Old Toll Road, Apt. 106, Jackson, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for passing bad checks.

* Susan N. Baker, no age given, 159 W. Ora Lee Drive, Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of being a minor in possession of alcohol.

* Jessica N. Canady, 22, 3008 Themis St., Apt. C, was arrested on suspicion of assault and trespassing.

* Edward R. Bryan, 26, 521 S. Ellis St., was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court.

* Amy D. Thompson, no age given, 408 Bellevue St., was arrested on a parole absconder warrant.

Summonses

* Samuel M. Cook, no age given, 1623 Deerwood Drive, Jackson, received a summons for stealing and tampering with evidence.

* Johnny Wrinkle, 49, of Scott City was issued a summons for trespassing.

Assaults

* A domestic assault was reported at 4 S. West End Blvd.

* An assault was reported in the 800 block of North Spanish Street.

Burglaries

* A burglary was reported at 905 Hickory St.

* A burglary was reported at 911 S. Pacific St. A window and window screens were reported damaged.

Thefts

* A wallet was reported stolen at 3026 William St.

* License plates were reported stolen at 2619 Prairie Lane.

* Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported a theft. Carrie A. Smith, 2080 Old Toll Road, Apt. 106, Jackson, was arrested on suspicion of stealing in connection with the complaint.

* A CD player was reported stolen at 1030 Broadway.

* Money, cigarettes and prescription drugs were reported stolen at 912 Bloomfield St.

* Two bicycles were reported stolen at 621 S. Ellis St.

* A riding lawn mower was reported stolen at 433 S. Ellis St.

Property damage

* A vehicle window was reported damaged at 624 Boxwood Drive.

* A mirror was reported damaged at 1030 Broadway.

* Spray paint damage to a motorcycle was reported at 515 Washington Ave.

Miscellaneous

* Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.

* Interference with custody was reported at 803 Themis St.

* Interference with custody was reported at 40 S. Sprigg St.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following item.

Theft

* A theft was reported in the 700 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
