Cape Girardeau: Summonses; Arrests; Theft

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summonses

* Joseph W. Morris, 26, 2206 Kent St., was issued a summons for failure to maintain property.

* Randy Edwards, 40, 1213 Jefferson Ave., was issued a summons for a leash-law violation.

* Salameh Massarweh, 45, of Southaven, Miss., was issued a summons for failure to maintain property free of high weeds.

* David C. Connell, 72, 246 E. Cape Rock Drive, was issued a summons for allowing dog to defecate on private or public property.

* Dwayne L. Glover, 20, 1224 William St., Apt. 2, was issued a summons for failure to properly maintain property.

Arrests

* Eric M. Berry, 32, 4 Brenda Court, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for contempt for court.

* Dustin L. Blackwell, 21, of Perryville, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for a probation violation.

* Ceceli S. Freed, 36, of Dexter, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for a probation violation.

Theft

* A cell phone was reported stolen at 449 S. Kingshighway.

* Crown Development, 523 Olive St., reported a theft of air conditioner.

* An iPod adapter and sunglasses were reported stolen at 1725 Bessie St.

* A car stereo and amplifier were reported stolen at 420 S. Sprigg St.

* DVDs were reported stolen at 1445 Helmsdale St.

* A burlgary was reported at 424 Mason St. A fax machine, television, stereo and DVD player were reported stolen.
