Cape Girardeau

DWI
- A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked and failure to wear a seat belt.
Arrests
- Lonnie D. Lynch, 40, of Hannibal, Mo., was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation.
- Willie D. Thomas, 27, of 2845 Themis St., No. 1, was arrested on a parole violation warrant as a parole absconder.
- James Pettigew, 36, of Whitewater was arrested on warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fines for driving while revoked and failure to pay fines for no headlight; contempt of court for failure to pay fines for no seat belt; and contempt of court for failure to pay fines for no child restraint.
- Christopher L. Stoner, 21, of 630 North St., was arrested on a warrant.
Assaults
- An assault was reported.
- A domestic assault was reported.
- Domestic assault and tampering with a victim were reported.
Thefts
- Jaspers, 10 S. West End Blvd., reported a theft of gasoline.
- Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported a theft. Two subjects were in custody pending filing of formal charges in connection with the complaint and on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
- A Blockbuster card was reported stolen.
- A bicycle was reported stolen at 1030 Westmount Drive.
- A black 2000 Jarma 16-foot trailer was reported stolen at 805 Enterprise Drive.
- Rent One, 610 S. Kingshighway, reported a failure to return rented furniture.
- Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
Burglaries
- Burglary, stealing and trespassing were reported at 2842 Independence St., No. 11. A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges in connection with the complaint.
- Burglary and theft were reported at 3718 Stonebridge Drive.
Miscellaneous
- A 24-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
- A 43-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
- A 22-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
- Careless and imprudent driving and a peace disturbance were reported on Interstate 55 at the 102 mile marker.
- A dog bite was reported at 209 S. West End Blvd.
- A 21-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
- Telephone harassment was reported.
Jackson
The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.
DWI
- William R. McClard, 23, of 122 S. Bellevue St., Apt. 5, received a summons for driving while intoxicated.
Arrest
- Jason Schuler, 26, of 107 S. Cavalier Drive, Apt. 136, was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for show cause order on traffic charges.
Summons
- Andrew M. Mather, 17, of 914 Old Cape Road, received summonses for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Property damage
- Property damage and a theft were reported in the 600 block of West Jackson Trail.
- A theft was reported in the 1500 block of Old Cape Road.
