Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWIs

  • Steven D. Stroud, 54, of McClure, Ill., received a summons for driving while intoxicated.
  • James H. Love II of 1752 Northwoods Court received a summons for driving while intoxicated.
  • Clinton W. Matlock, 28, of McClure, Ill., received a summons for driving while intoxicated.
  • Alan D. Turner, 26, of Oran, Mo., received a summons for driving while intoxicated.
  • Kevin M. Roslen of Sikeston, Mo., received a summons for driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

  • Richard D. Post, 47, of 324 William St. was arrested on warrants for possession of a controlled substance, two instances of driving while revoked and failure to appear in court.
  • Jimmy L. Bell, 57, of 921 S. Ellis St. was arrested on a warrant.
  • Coby M. Declue, 30, of McClure, Ill., was arrested for failure to appear for a traffic violation.
  • Chad Venson Sr., 30, of Tamms, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation.
  • Cory Bess, 22, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for stealing.
  • Gregory Criddle of 912 William St., No. 4, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrants for possession of a controlled substance and for failure to appear for assault.

Assaults

  • Three domestic assaults were reported.
  • A domestic assault was reported at 105 Green Acres Drive. A subject was in custody pending filing of formal charges.

Thefts

  • Tractor Supply Co., 501 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft.
  • A theft was reported at 1512 Kingsbury Drive.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported at 2136 William St.
  • Property damage was reported at 55 N. Benton St.

Miscellaneous

  • A violation of an ex parte order of protection was reported.
  • Resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia was reported.
  • Trespassing was reported at 1551 Grandview Lane. Paul Hagler of 2560 Lisa Drive received a summons in connection with the complaint.

Jackson

The following items were released by the Jackson Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

  • Joseph A. Steward, 33, of Rockford, Ill., was arrested on a Wayne County warrant for failure to appear.

Summonses

  • Justin W. LaFentre, 17, of 1425 Ozark St., Cape Girardeau, received a summons for being a minor in possession of alcohol and speeding.
  • Ricky R. Weaver Jr., 19, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., received a summons for being a minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.
  • Ryan P. Harkey, 18, of 605 Donna Drive received a summons for being a minor in possession of alcohol.
  • Gregory W. Donnor, 18, of Whitewater received a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of alcohol by a minor and failure to register a motor vehicle.

Assault

  • A sexual offense was reported in the 700 block of Oak Street.

Burglary

  • A burglary was reported in the 1300 block of Rosebud Drive.

Miscellaneous

  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 400 block of East Lane.
  • Harassing telephone calls were reported in the 300 block of North High Street.
  • A fight was reported in the 500 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
