DWI
- Travis D. Ray, 21, of 715 S. Pacific St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for driving while intoxicated and contempt of court for speeding. Ray also was arrested on a Sikeston, Mo., warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for speeding.
Arrests
- Jennifer M. Ellington, 19, of Bernie, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for motor vehicle responsibility requirement.
- A suspect was in custody pending formal charges for driving with a revoked license, no valid insurance and expired tags.
- A suspect was in custody pending formal charges for driving with a revoked license.
- Shametra L. Twiggs, 24, of 1811 Hudson Drive, was arrested on suspicion of failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
- Zatrun R. Twiggs, 21, of 208 S. Middle St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.
- A suspect was in custody pending formal charges for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphrenalia.
- A 16-year-old boy was cited into juvenile court for assault.
- Melissa Ann Randol, 37, was arrested on a probation and parole warrant for probation violation.
- Henry Copeland, 83, of 1127 N. Fountain St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing.
Thefts
- A television, speakers, a DVD player, DVDs and furniture were reported stolen from 2812 Themis St., Apt. C.
- Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.
- A cellular phone and its charger were reported stolen from 107 N. Frederick St.
- Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.
- Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported gasoline stolen.
- An Illinois Link Card was reported stolen from 1101 William St.
- Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.
- Jewelry and a wallet were reported stolen from 3439 William St.
- Amerimart 7, 1320 W. Cape Rock Road, reported gasoline stolen.
- A cellular phone was reported stolen from 1000 S. Silver Springs Road.
Summonses
- Kimberly J. Allen, of 1030 N. Cape Rock Drive, received a summons for failure to stop at a red light and driving with no proof of insurance after a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Sprigg and Independence streets. Cheryl Lynn Garrett, of 134 S. Lorimier St., received a summons for failure to stop at a red light after the same accident.
- Harlan D. Smothers, of Gordonville received a summons for failure to yield.
- Michelle A. Slinkard, of 401 N. Louisiana Ave., received a summons for failure to yield after a motor vehicle accident at the intersecton of Louisiana and Bessie streets.
Property damage
- Damage to a vehicle was reported at 617 Boxwood Drive, Apt. 2.
Cape Girardeau County
The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department reported the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.
- Terry L. Gerlach, 30, of Cape Girardeau, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to signal.
- Joshua L. Wilke, 17, of Millersville, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for speeding.
- Jeffery L. Brown, 31, of Millersville, was arrested on a Scott County warrant for nonsupport.
- Nicholas J. Young, 26, of Jackson, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for a parole violation for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphrenalia, failure to register a motor vehicle and sale or purchase of a motor vehicle in Missouri without transferring the certificate of ownership.
