Cape Girardeau

The following items were released by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • William Buck Burton Jr., 18, 215 Mason St., was arrested on suspicion of stealing at 3439 William St.
  • Jerry Lee Curry, 42, 123 N. Clark Ave., Apt. 2, was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court.
  • Titus D. Brockman, 17, of 2802 Independence St., Apt. 4, was arrested on suspicion of prohibited acts (yelling).

Thefts

  • Bi-State Southern, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A phone was reported stolen at 1928 Delwin St.
  • A camera was reported stolen at 3023 Aspen Drive.
  • A $100 bill was reported stolen at Ryan's, 130 Vantage Drive.
  • Amerimart, 1320 W. Cape Rock Drive, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported three thefts of gasoline.
  • A lawn mower and an electric stove were reported stolen at 1815 Herman St.

Property Damage

  • A vehicle was reported damaged at 205 Caruthers Ave.
  • A vehicle was reported damaged at 811 S. Ellis St. Robert L. Henry, 909 Hackberry St., No. 203, was arrested in connection with the complaint.

Miscellaneous

  • A call for protective custody and assisting another agency was reported.
  • Failure to maintain property free of weeds was reported.
  • Failure to return rental property was reported.
  • A cell phone was found at West Cape Rock Drive and Lexington Avenue.
  • A 50-year-old man was taken into proetective custody.
