Cape Girardeau: Arrests; Thefts; Burglaries; Property damage; Miscellaneous

Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Christopher L. Brown, 32, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of forgery and fraudulently attempting to obtain a controlled substance.

* Darcell C. Moore, 21, 1080 S. Ellis St., was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear for no insurance and failure to appear for no license.

* Diana K. Depew, 28, 1927 N. Kingshighway, No. 3, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to show proof of insurance.

Thefts

* A check was reported stolen at 2031 Pamela Drive.

* Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported a theft. Allen M. Mansfield, 21, and Justin R. Simmons, 18, both of Jackson, were arrested in connection with the incident.

Burglaries

* A burglary was reported 1919 Old Sprigg Street Road. A rifle and scope were reported stolen.

* A burglary was reported at 1403 Luce St. Various furnishings were reported stolen.

Property damage

* Scratches on vehicle were reported at 104 N. Henderson Ave.

* Damaged tires and windshield were reported at 415 Sheridan Drive.

Miscellaneous

* A 54-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* A 21-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.

* A 38-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* A 50-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
