Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

n Karla B. Vangilder, 1950 Longview St., was issued a summons for leaving the scene of an accident, driving while intoxicated and following too closely.

Arrests

• Jimmy L. Bell, 58, 1516 S. Henderson Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear and failure to pay a fine for possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Brenda J. Shackles, 43, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft

• Theft of a debit card was reported at 2842 Independence St., Apt. 12.

Burglary

• Burglary was reported at 921 Hackberry St.

Property damage

n Property damage was reported at 410 Kiwanis Drive.

• A scratched vehicle was reported at 1625 N. Kingshighway.
• Damage to a vehicle was reported at 3049 William St.
• Damage to a door was reported at 921 Hackberry St.
• Damage to a window was reported at 103 N. Clark St.
• Trespassing was reported at 1809 N. Kingshighway. A subject is in custody pending charges in connection with the incident.
