Cape Girardeau

The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Joanna M. Lawler, 19, of 2806 Independence St., No. 8, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for parole violation.
  • Lisa C. Thomas, 35, of 1400 S. West End Blvd., No. 106, was arrested on a Butler County warrant for failure to appear for failure to return rental property.
  • Amber L. Jackson, 18, of 99 S. Park, Apt. C., was arrested on suspicion of prohibited acts/noise, driving while suspended, failure to show proof of insurance and displaying tags of another vehicle.
  • A boy and a girl are in custody on suspicion of prohibited acts/noise, walking in street, refusing to obey lawful order, false declaration and possession of tobacco.
  • Lateasha T. Clark, 20, of 909 Hackberry St., Apt. 204, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for stealing.

Assaults

  • Two assaults were reported.
  • An assault was reported at 127 Water St.

Summonses

  • Casey J. Moser, 18, of Chaffee, Mo., received a summons for prohibited acts/noise.
  • David L. Hightower, 23, of 415 Bellevue St., received a summons for prohibited acts/noise.
  • Cindy M. Benefield, 39, of 65 Centennial Drive, received a summons for leash law violation.
  • Roy A. Johnson, of Tamms, Ill., received a summons for prohibited acts/noise.

DWIs

  • Derek P. Streiler, 25, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
  • Zachary R. Bone, 20, of Park Hills, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to stop at flashing red light and no seat belt.

Thefts

  • A passport was reported stolen at 373 N. Henderson Ave.
  • Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • A stereo and backpack were reported stolen at 2449 Horseshoe Ridge.
  • Kidd's II, 103 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Bistate, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Kidd's, 103 N. Kingshighway, reported a theft of gasoline.
  • Best Buy, 3026 William St., reported a theft of CDs, DVD combo disk and a DVD.
  • A cell phone was reported stolen at 2109 William St.
  • Identity theft was reported.
  • Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St., reported a theft of gasoline.

Property damage

  • Damage to a vehicle was reported at Broadway and Park.
  • Damage to a vehicle fender was reported damaged at 1720 Lawanda St.
  • A cell phone was reported damaged at 1803 N. Main St.
  • Cape Girardeau School District, 301 N. Clark Ave., reported a plate glass window damaged.

The following items were reported by the Cape Girardeau Sheriff's Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Richard W. Best, 32, of Advance, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear and no seat belt.
  • Curtis W. Wills, 53, of Jackson was arrested on a Perry County warrant for probation violation for passing bad checks.
  • Dequandria N. Boatwright, 18, of Tulsa, Okla., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for contempt of court, no driver's license, no insurance and no seat belt.
  • Christina M. Ball, 23, of Delta was arrested on a Ste. Genevieve County warrant for failure to appear for passing bad checks.
  • Robert L. Mosbey, 32, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for receiving stolen property.

Summons

  • Travis M. Craft, 19, of Jackson received a summons for bring a minor in possession of intoxicating liquor.

DWIs

  • Thomas H. Holshouser, 36, of University Park, Ill., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
  • Darrell W. McIntyre, 27, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
