Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Megan V. Ross of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges for false report, possession of a controlled substance, distribution and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Christopher M. Robinson, 712 S. Pacific St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana.

Assault

* A domestic assault was reported.

* An assault was reported.

Thefts

* Rhodes 101, 10 S. West End Blvd., reported the theft of gasoline.

* Identity theft was reported.

* A bedspread was reported stolen from 1448 N. Kingshighway.

* Claire's Boutique, 3049 William St., reported the theft of a tongue ring.

Miscellaneous

* Property damage and trespassing were reported at 418 Themis St.

* Two men, 51 and 49, were taken into protective custody.
