Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Jodi L. Walz, 31, of St. Charles, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for allowing an unlicensed driver to drive.

* Two juveniles were placed in custody for disturbing the peace.

Assaults

* An assault was reported.

* A domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

* The Humane Society of Southeast Missouri, 2536 Boutin Drive, reported a theft of a beagle, boxer and dachshund mix puppy.

* A lock box was reported stolen at 1715 W. Cape Rock Drive.

* Fred's, 121 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of scissors and clothing. A subject is in custody pending charges.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported at 536 S. Frederick St. A Guitar Hero game, television, XBox and PlayStation 3 were reported stolen.

Property damage

* Damage to a vehicle was reported in the 1400 block of Bessie Street. Dawnietta H. Muse, 25, of Jackson was arrested in connection with the incident.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items.

Miscellaneous

* Harassmenet was reported in the 700 block of Hickory Street.

* A disturbance was reported in the 900 block of West Independence Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 100 block of South Union Avenue.
