The Cape Girardeau Police department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

  • Timothy G. Meyer, 25, of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene.

Summons

  • David C. Epps, 57, 200 Bellevue St., was issued a summons for failure to keep property free of trash.

Arrests

  • Shawn L. Egson, 34, was arrested on six Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for no proof of insurance, driving while suspended, suspended operator's license and failure to appear for child restraint, improper registration and revoked operator's license.
  • Brandon L. Hamilton, 25, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and cost for walking in a street when a sidewalk was available.
  • Jonathan L. Lockridge, 20, 1014 Bloomfield St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of controlled substance.
  • Toi B. Lee, 18, 112 N. Clark Ave., was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked.
  • Broshawn D. Egson, 32, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for nonsupport.

Assault

  • A domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

  • A subject is in custody pending charges for stealing.
  • A renewal sticker from a license plate was reported stolen in the 100 block of Broadway.
  • Macy's, 3049 William St., reported a theft of clothing. Two female juveniles were cited into juvenile court in connection with the incident.
  • Rhodes 101, 612 S. Sprigg St., reported a theft of fuel.

  • Ivie Dental Lab, 2852 Professional Court, reported a burglary. Dental supplies were reported stolen.
  • A burglary was reported at 1224 Jefferson Ave. A check and television set were reported stolen and a door damaged.

Property damage

  • A window was reported damaged at 1100 Ranney Ave.

Miscellaneous

  • A 32-year old woman was placed in protective custody.
  • Unlawful use of a weapon was reported.

Jackson

The Jackson Police department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrest

  • Jay A. Jackson, 24, 813 Amanda St., was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked.

Theft

  • A theft was reported in the 100 block of West Jackson Boulevard.

Miscellaneous

  • A disturbance reported in the 600 block of West Adams Street.
